What’s included in each cleaning?

Each cleaning includes a detailed checklist tailored to the service type—Initial, Recurring, or Deep Cleaning. How long does a typical cleaning take?

The time depends on the size and condition of your home, as well as the service type. Most standard cleanings take between 2 to 4 hours. We’ll give you a time estimate during your walk-through or after your booking.

 

Will the same cleaner come each time?

We aim to assign a consistent cleaner or team to recurring clients. However, if someone is sick or unavailable, we’ll send another fully trained team member and let you know in advance.

 

Do I need to be home during the cleaning?

Not at all. Most of our clients prefer to leave us a key or provide door codes. We take security seriously and ensure your home is locked and secure after every visit.

 

How do I prepare my home before a cleaning?

We just ask that you pick up personal items, toys, or clutter from floors and countertops so we can clean efficiently. No need to tidy up—we’re here for that!

 

Do you offer one-time cleanings or only recurring services?

Yes, we offer one-time cleanings for special occasions, move-ins/outs, or just a fresh reset. Recurring service plans (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly) are available at a discounted rate.

 

What happens if something gets damaged during the cleaning?

We’re fully insured and bonded for your protection. If anything is damaged, we’ll notify you right away and take full responsibility to repair or replace the item.

 

Can I request special tasks or add-ons?

Absolutely. Let us know in advance if you’d like extras like laundry, dishes, inside cabinets, or garage sweeping. Additional fees may apply depending on the request.

 

Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

No contracts here. You can cancel or reschedule anytime with at least 48 hours’ notice. We want to earn your trust—not lock you in.

 

How do I reschedule or cancel a service?

You can reschedule or cancel through your customer portal or by contacting us directly. Please give us at least 48 hours' notice to avoid a cancellation fee.

 

How do I pay for the service?

We accept all major credit and debit cards. Payment is processed securely after each cleaning, and you’ll receive a digital receipt.

 

What if I’m not satisfied with the cleaning?

Your satisfaction is our priority. If anything was missed, let us know within 24 hours—we’ll return to fix it at no extra cost.

 

Do you clean homes with pets?

Yes, we’re happy to clean homes with furry family members. Just let us know about them in advance, and we’ll make sure the team is prepared.

 

Are tips expected or included?

Tipping is not required but always appreciated. You can tip your cleaner in cash or add a tip when you pay online. 100% of tips go directly to the cleaning professional.

 

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 3–5 days in advance, especially for deep cleanings or weekend slots. But feel free to check—we may have last-minute availability.

Can you use my vacuum cleaner instead?

Yes, we can use your vacuum cleaner if you prefer. However, please note that Green Mop Cleaning Services cannot be held responsible if the vacuum malfunctions, breaks, or stops working while in use. If you’d like us to use your vacuum, please make sure it is in good working condition and easily accessible at the time of your appointment. Otherwise, our team will bring and use our own professional-grade equipment.
